On September 15, 2022, the Northeastern Ohio Synod accepted St. Matthew to participate in the Dandelion Project.  This is an opportunity for our congregation, under the leadership of Pastor Dave Daubert, to renew Itself for mission and ministry.  Our team is made up of Pastor Steve Mahaffey, Deacon Lindsay Bailey, Heather Gerspacher, Todd Costello, Bob Maas, Jordan Johnston, and Bill Heck.

We will re-discover our identity and mission for the sake of doing what matters to God. On this journey we will be paying attention to what God is up to and following where God leads. God may take us into unexpected places, even places we cannot yet imagine.

While the journey belongs to the whole congregation, our team will attend eight Gathering Events led by Pastor Dave Daubert (with follow-up coaching gatherings). Each event will equip the team to explore the following areas of congregational mission vitality:
