Chalet Retreat

We all arrived safely at the Chalet Retreat, in Roan Mountain, Tennessee. Our hosts are the wonderful Holm family who purchased the beautiful property to house relief teams and clergy families as their personal ministry. What a blessing!

The seven-eight hour drive had us all arriving at different times... but just in time to settle into our individual housing units... and sit down for our first meal together. Many thanks to Scott Johnson for his homemade spaghetti and meatballs! Bright and shiny, tomorrow morning (7:15 a.m.), Melody Costello will have put on a pot of coffee, and heated up the frittatas that were sent with love from Mary Dunham. At 8:00 we will meet with the building coordinator from the Carter County Tennessee Long-term Recovery Group . . . and off we go!
