Day 3 – Only Post. Friends, Pr. Angela here. This is a very late post about today, Wednesday. It’s been a wonderful but intense and long work day. Going backwards through the day: We ended the day with a relaxing campfire and s’mores. Devotions and reflections on day’s work. A little play and cooling off in Tiger Creek. At two work sights, the crew completed a staircase, finished dry walking and mudding, removed carpet staples from flooring in multiple rooms. Worked more on plumbing so that the family could have a working bathroom for the first time in 2 years. Installed new windows. The house is prepped for walls to be painted and flooring to be laid. We always make our lunches together in the morning and pray before heading out. We have one and a half days left of work and we’ll do what we can to make an impact before we leave. Hopefully, the biggest impact is that the homeowners know they’re loved and not forgotten. Thank you for the prayers and support this week. It’s carrying us through. Blessings upon blessings!
